This is for those wishing to make minor variations to their Limited licence terms e.g. change of vehicles or relatively minor variation to hours (and the Court registrar is insisting that you file a formal application for variation). The Court will charge a filing fee and NZTA will charge an application fee, both of which change from time to time and details of which may be found on their respective websites.(currently court fees are $200 for demerit point suspension applications and $150 for court imposed disqualification applications and NZTA charges $39.30 for the limited licence)

2. their are no variations between the last version of documents provided by or to us and the version filed with the court ; and
3. if the Police oppose your application, we are provided with full detail of (and a reasonable time to provide templates in response to) their grounds for opposition; and
4. if the Judge indicates an issue with the application documents (that can't be resolved on the hearing date), one adjournment is obtained to provide you with an opportunity to address the issue; and
5. the Judge nevertheless declines your application.
